Michael A. Troiano, DPM, FACFAS

Board Certified Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Michael A. Troiano, DPM, FACFAS, is a board certified foot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgeon (American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery) and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds staff appointments and operating privileges at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, and Jefferson Methodist Hospital.

Dr. Troiano specializes in the treatment of painful foot and ankle disorders, including total ankle replacement, limb salvage, complex reconstruction, and the care of complex foot and ankle fractures and trauma. He is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he now teaches as an adjunct clinical faculty member in the department of surgery, biomechanics, and MRI reading.

He completed his residency at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. He has a special interest in advanced wound care and treats patients at the Penn Wound Care Center. He is a nationally recognized lecturer and has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals and books.

Harold D. Schoenhaus, DPM, FACFAS

Board Certified Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Harold Schoenhaus is a board certified foot, rear foot, and reconstructive ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a past president and current fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds staff appointments and operating privileges at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital and Chestnut Hill Hospital.

His research and clinical interests are in biomechanics, pathomechanics, and reconstructive surgery, including joint replacement surgery and pediatric podiatric surgery. He is the surgical editor for PRESENT e-Learning Systems and a nationally recognized lecturer and pioneer in the field of lower extremity pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery, and has authored several landmark articles in peer-reviewed journals and books.

Richard M. Jay, DPM, FACFAS

Board Certified Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Richard M. Jay has dedicated the last 40 years to his foot and ankle surgical practice and to medical education, specializing in complex and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle and wound care. He is a retired Professor of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics at Temple University and former Director of the Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency Program and Medical Education at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.

He has authored and edited 22 medical textbooks and over 40 surgical journal articles, and has lectured nationally and internationally at over 100 medical and surgical conferences on foot and ankle surgery, pediatrics, and diabetic wound management. He is the past president of the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics and former section editor of the Journal of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is on clinical staff at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian and Pennsylvania Hospital.

Physician Emeritus

Edward L. Chairman, DPM, FACFAS

Board Certified Foot Surgeon

Dr. Edward Chairman is a board certified foot surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He completed his undergraduate degree at Temple University and went on to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine.

In practice since 1970, Dr. Chairman retired after 50 years of dedicated service, and remains connected to the practice as physician emeritus.
